Our annual Senior Hockey and Rugby 7s tournaments brought over 20 schools and 200 players to Austin Friars on Wednesday 6th March – with a fantastic atmosphere in the air, it made for an exciting afternoon of sports.

After some convincing wins and great teamwork in their group games, both our Hockey and Rugby teams competed in the Plate playoffs.

The boys faced Newcastle School for Boys in their play off. The girls faced Lancaster Royal Grammar School, winning 2-1 meaning they took the Plate!

Kirkby Stephen were the overall tournament winners in the Hockey and Lancaster RGS were the overall tournament winners in the Rugby.

Congratulations to all players for an excellent competition, and a huge thank you to our Site Team and Kitchen Staff for preparing the pitches and feeding the teams.
